My first Gift Bag/Box

Happy Tuesday friends... Last night I had some time to myself before Private Practice came on and I thought I would try my hand at making Andrea's Gift Bag/Box.  You can find her tutorial here.  This was my first attempt at making this Gift Bag and I can't believe how easy it was to do...

I used a patterned 12x12 cardstock for the bag after making the box.  I won't go into detail as to how it was made, as Andrea's tutorial is self-explanatory, so please click on the link for details.  I coloured this gorgeous Whiff of Joy stamp, Lizzie with Muff, with copics. Added some glitter to her muffs and boots, for some sparkle. Further embellished with punched out pine leaves and some cherry blossoms.

I mounted Lizzie onto a piece of card, which I embossed with my snowflake embossing plate. I then lightly dabbed it with a brown inkpad from Fabscraps.

I filled the Gift Bag with tissue paper for the purpose of this photograph. One can place your gift inside.  A super idea for those end-of-year gifts we all need to make.  I think I'll be making a few more of these.  Thanks Andrea for sharing your tutorial with us.

Thank you for popping around and for your sweet comments, they really make my day.  Hugs Sharon x
