I used sturdy kraftstock to make my box and then I set about making the panels to decorate it. Flip, the top was a nightmare... I somehow thought I had measured correctly to get the nesties to match over the hole, but something went wrong, hence me having to put it at an angle instead of straight!
I was so fed up with myself that I didn't even bother to decorate any further. When my disappointment has worn off, I may attempt it again...
Kendall and I are attending a decoupage class at our local Creative Talents shop on Saturday 9th October. We'll be learning how to make a Memory Box, so watch this space. We can't wait!
That's it for this weekend's crafting for me. I'm off to get into my jammies and find a comedy to look at...
Thanks for popping by, your visits make me smile... hugs Sharon x

hi Sharon i have these problems all the time but in the end i think your tissue box looks great sometimes its better to use less decoration i think just a few flowers looks so pretty and this one has a nice girly elegance to it xx
Very elegant box Sharon! Hey, the angled hole cover looks intentional, it adds that uniqueness we're all trying to achieve when creating "one-of-a-kind". That said, I think you've done great and your tissue box is a total cutie :-)
Ohhh wat prachtig gemaakt Sharon, mooi papier heb je gebruikt.

Hey Sharon. Dont you be hard on yourself. This is beautiful, and such delicate colours too. Like you say, we all need to learn, but there is nothing wrong with it sweetie, and I bet Kendall loved it too. Happy crafting my friend. Speak tomorrow.
Lots of love, Sandra xx
Hi there
Well, what a great idea! I would never thought of it. Just love it! It will certainly be a super project for the shop, don't you think?

Oh my gosh, you won't believe this...I have been thinking of making the same thing only the square one! Too funny!! I love it though even if the top is crooked for it's unique!!
