Mother's Day Cards

Good evening friends... gosh, but it is humid this evening... my poor little fan is working overtime right now, as we don't have aircon at home.

As my regular visitors will know, I belong to a rubber stamping group in SA and from time to time there is a request to assist a crafty sister with a few cards, be it for charity or just to send to someone who is in need of some loving... we call these RAK (Random Act of Kindness) requests.

A request came through last week and as I was assisted so kindly last year when I appealed for our group to make cards for Cancer survivors, I thought it only right that I do my bit too... so, here are my 5 Mother's Day cards which will be donated to an old age home.

As the request was for a simple card, I based them on the Clean & Simple look and used bits and pieces of leftover paper from making my other cards.  I just wanted to share them with you so that one can see that something quite simple can be pretty too, even though it's made from our leftover stash... I hope you think so too...

TGIF tomorrow... I love the weekends and on Saturday Kendall and I are going to see Riverdance at the Grand West Arena.  As we've only seen it on television, we're really looking forward to the live show.  The dancing is spectacular, I can't wait!

Thanks for popping around... an early night for me this evening (10pm), so cheerio until next time, hugs Sharon x
