A 60th Birthday Card to share

Hello friends... I was asked to make a 60th Birthday card for a colleagues' Mom.  Usually one is asked to make a card in certain colours, but I had free reign with this one.  I hope it's not too bright!

Just love this daisy stamp which was one of the very first wooden stamps I purchased when I started this hobby.  I've used it time and time again.  Also, I just loved this design paper.... lovely pink, white, lilac, yellow and orange (my last piece boohooo!).  This is what I managed to create and I thought I'd share it with you all...

I've used MS Cherish Hearts (Dies to Die For) to create a border for the front, so that it wasn't too clean and simple a look.  The stunning sentiment is a freebie from the lovely Netty's blog... You want it, she's got it and if she doesn't have it, she'll create it for you.  How sweet is she?  Thanks so much Netty!  Just click on the Freebies tab when you visit her blog... she has a whole range of sentiments just for you and me.

Thanks for popping by and looking at some different to the usual girlie cards you find on my blog.   Hope you like this one. Happy crafting, hugs Sharon x

Not too bright at all! Just beautiful! Love the accent of the lavender. A very pretty card and know she will love it.

A lovely summery floral card. I must say I do like flowers on the cards, just don't do them often enough. Have a great day

Wow Sharon, I love your card. The flowers are so pretty and perfect for a 60th b'day. I love the colours too, and the bow is perfect. Ooooh I've just seen the punched border too, love the hearts and scallops. Thanks SOOO much for your lovely comments about my freebie sentiments. Yes the whole range of "ages" was actually created cos someone asked. I stopped at 90, and then someone inevitably wanted 100 !! Thanks for the great mention on your fab blog! BIG hugs. Annette xx
