Sympathy Card

Morning friends

A very quick and short post today.  Just thought I would share a Sympathy card I made over the weekend.  These are so difficult to make, aren't they ?  How plain to we keep it, what colours do we use ?  I found this gorgeous piece of paper which was a gift from my lovely friend Sandra and it just seemed the perfect choice for me.

I've been searching for a Copic storage holder for a while now and obviously one would love to have those that they have in the shops, but if you can't get them or don't have the space for them, then you need to improvise. I found these plastic containers at a plastic warehouse in my area and they fit perfectly on top of each other. So, whatever colours you want to use, you just take that container/s and put them on your desk. Works for me. I just need to get another 2 I think !

It's just gone 6.36am and it's just starting to get light... yep, the season is definitely changing... Autumn is on its way!

Have a super Tuesday, hugs to all, Sharon x

A simply elegant card. Wow, but you do have a lot of Copics - very handy the way you have stored them. I also use the same kind of containers to organised my craft stuff.

I too find it very hard to make sympathy cards. I choose my paper and I think ...oh that's too bright, or that is too cheerful, but dark and gloomy makes it worst. I think you found the perfect balance my friend! Hugz and luv xoxoxo
PS. I need to speak to you! Will write more tonight!!

Not my favourite card to make, I usually buy one my friend at church has made if needed, but I think a handmade card always means more and shows you really care.
Your card is just right Sharon.
Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog, it's nice to be blogging again.
