Blue for You....

What a wonderful Sunday this is turning out to be.  The weather is cool and overcast in Cape Town and we haven't been outdoors the whole day.  I've just been crafting away and trying to bring some tidiness to my craft desk and drawers !  Oh boy, what a task that is !!!  At times I wish I had a magic wand that I could wave where everything would just fall beautifully into place... LOL   I just know you feel the same way!

As I mentioned yesterday, I am catching up on some orders for the magnetic shopping list fridge notelets (if there is a shorter description for these, let me know...LOL).  I have just completed the Blue one and I am loving it so much !  Hope you think so too...

Awww, isn't this a cute little Tilda with her cookies.  So appropriate for this gift.

Here's a side view.

Don't you love this new sentiment? I asked Hannelie (Desert Diva), who is a South African living in the UAE, to create this one especially for me. She kindly agreed.  She's a whizz at creating sentiments and frequently has some on her blog for you to download for free, so do pay her a visit.  Thanks so much Hannelie. I have printed a whole page and die cut them, so have a wonderful supply ready to be used.

This is what the back looks like with the magnetic strips. As you can see, I place quite a few strips so that it sits securely on the fridge.  Rest assured, I test each one after I've made it.  You need to keep your embellishments to the minimum and as light as possible.

I hope my client will be pleased with her orders, as I had so much fun making them.

Thanks for your visit and lovely comments.  They really make my day.

hugs Sharon x

Hey Sharon

I know your client will be pleased with it - its just stunning - only wish I had a fridge door that the magnets would stick too as I would ask you to make one for me!

Love the blue colour combo and had a quick nosey around your friend's blog with the sentiments - she's very clever and I will have a good look later on.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Toodles and take care

Hazel xx

This is just precious, Sharon! I love the colors, the concept, and the embellies. What a wonderful gift. You did such a wonderful job! Do you think I should make a dozen or so and place them where fingerprints seem to accumulate on my fridge thanks to he who shall remain unnamed? I'm fighting a losing fingerprint battle here. Your idea may save me! LOL

Great job, Sharon! Thanks for sharing!

XO,
Chris Christensen

These are such a great idea! Love your coloring and you used one of my very favorite Tilda's that I can't seem to get my hands on. I live in southern Arizona, US and it is heating up fast! In fact, I got a sun burn from sitting on the edge of the pool for just a few minutes. So enjoy your cooler weather. :)

Good Morning Sharon

As always your creations is so beautiful. I think if I ever receive a shopping list book like this, I will be to afraid to write in it. Something like this will be treasured. Your Tilda is coloured so beautiful, realy hope that one day I will be able to do mine half as beautiful as yours.

Have a great day.
