It's Midweek...

Can you believe that it is already midweek and the end of May.  Where are the months flying to ?

I made this little altered Notebook over the weekend for Kendall and she LOVES it!  Just thought I'd share it with you all too.

This is a typical Shorthand Notebook.  I took the wire on the top apart to cover the front and then I punched holes into it again from the back so that I could put the wire through again. Don't look too closely please, as my punch is way too small (just for brads) and so the holes are tiny and it tore a little.  Not to worry, I'll just place a bigger holed punch onto my Wish List... LOL

When I asked Kendall what stamp she wanted, there was NO hesitation at all... She went over to my Magnolia box and out came little Miss Tilda with Ballet Shoes.  She's adorable and it's a pleasure colouring her in.

I used one of my newer frame dies which has sadly been collecting dust on the shelf.  Makes quite a pretty frame for our Tilda, doesn't it?  Just finished this off with some ribbon, flowers and a stunning sentiment for inspiration!

Thanks for popping by once again.  I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one.  Much appreciated.

hugs Sharon x

Sharon, this notebook's cover is soooo lovely! I'm blown away with the little double-bow in the corner that replicates Tilda's bow in the image! Super-cute!!!! Oh, and the colour combination is so sunny and summery - love it!!!

Thanks so much for visiting me today Sharon. I am glad you loved"visiting" my Studio and as you say my dear Dad made my bench which I love SO much. Your altered pad is very clever and beautifully decorated. Your colouring is fabulous and yellow and blue looks so good together. I don't think I would have the patience to re spring it! Lovely work!
