New Projects to Share...

Hello everyone... I'm busy skype-ing with my friend Paola, she's in Johannesburg and I'm in Cape Town and we both look like eskimo women... me in my red fleecy top and she in her navy one... WHOA, but is is freezing here... As mentioned in a previous post, winter has well and truly set in. It was actually a beautiful day today, but at 4pm in the afternoon the temperatures dip dramatically and the cold sets in for the evening.

Enough of the weather... After a busy morning and visiting my Mom, I managed to get some crafting done. My friend Susan loved her altered Notebook so much that she ordered one for her sister-in-law who will be going overseas on holiday soon. She also requested one of my MFN (magnetic fridge notelets).  Thought I would share them with you all!

The sentiment is my own computer-generated creation and is Afrikaans for My Notes.  The luggage tag has been stamped with a gorgeous postage stamp from Kaiserkraft.  The stunning polka dot flower is from my friend Hazel... thanks honey! and the rest of my embellishments are from my stash.

Here's another view so that you can see the dimension and all the different textures.  The butterflies have been raised and glittered.  I used Tilda on the Loose, seeing that the recipient will soon be embarking on an overseas holiday.

The pink lily flowers are newbies from Wild Orchid Crafts - my first, but definitely not my last purchase from them. On the right are some pearl brads which I ordered from as well. Have still to use these.

Here is the magnetic shopping notelet (MSN) that you can place on your fridge door to write down those important grocery items you need to replace in your cupboard.

I've used this gorgeous older Tilda with Striped Apron and placed her on a rolling pin.

As I have no idea how to do these circular sentiments, Hannelie (Desert Diva) kindly made this one for me.  Thanks Hannelie!

Thanks so much for popping by for a visit.  Please do leave a message as I so enjoy reading them. Would love to hear what you think of my little creations.

Kendall has just brought me a steaming warm cuppacino.   Sending you lots of warm hugs this evening, Sharon x

Another amazing notebook and MSN. Love the colors you choose to use. Beautifully put together. I love hearing about your weather as you always the complete opposite of what I am experiencing. Sounds like you have an awesome daughter, how sweet of her to bring you a cappacino. Have a great week and stay warm:)
