Leave of Absence

Hello Friends

I just thought I would share that with immediate effect I am taking a Leave of Absence from blogging and cardmaking for a short while.

During the December/January holidays, I managed to get ahead with some DT commitments.  Those posts have been scheduled and will run its course.

Real Life has just got soooo busy for me right now.  As my regulars will know, we are having a new home built and we are hoping to move in towards the end of March.  I've been meeting with the Builder and Cabinet-maker to discuss the usual things that comes with building a house, driving around over weekends to select tiles, and so on.  It is just one roller-coaster ride for me right now.  On top of this, I work full day.  Our evenings are spent clearing out the unwanted items which we do not want to take with us and packing the rest. As you can imagine, there is no time for crafting.

So, for the next few months, please don't expect much from my Blog.  Thank you so much for being a part of my life these past few years.  I sooo enjoy blogging, crafting and interacting with you all.  I look forward to re-acquainting myself with this hobby once I have moved into my new home, which will have a tiny but separate Craft Room...yay!!!!

I am really hoping that I will not lose any Followers during this period, but if that is your choice, so be it - no hard feelings.  I am sure to post a lot of news and pics once we have settled down, so watch this space!

If you miss me to much...hahaha... you are welcome to pop me an email anytime.

Thanks so much. Big hugs
Sharon x

I can understand why you will not have the time for crafting. I wish you all the best for your move and will look forward to the pictures.

Good luck....maybe you just need to pop in sometime to get all that dust & dirt out of your head...maybe to drink a quick cuppa tea, but surely we'll miss you.
Good luck with all the choices you have to make....it is worse than picking paper, but I belief you will be happy in your new place after you have settle down.
Hugs & strength!

Sharon we will miss you here in blogland, but good luck with all the tiresome details, but it will be worth it when you move. Pop in sometimes, just to tell us how it is going and when your move is happening. Take care, hugs, Ursula

Hi Sharon.
I so enjoyed reading your posts on you move that I have become a follower. I came to know about your blog through Hannelie. I am quite new to blogland and love making new friends, specially when they're from Cape Town! I'm also a Capetonian (grew up in Brackenfell and stayed in Durbanville for a few years), but we moved to George in Dec 2007.
I can't wait to see your work when you're ready to start crafting in your new craft room! When you're settled in and have a minute or two to spare you can visit me at kaartjiekreatief.blogspot.com.
Wishing you all the best in your new home!
Groete, Petra.
P.S. What a beautiful little kitty!!
