18 December 2013
It is going to be another hot day in Cape Town, so I've closed the blinds and am tucked away in my craft room as I am keen to continue making more Baby cards, which I had started with yesterday.
I needed to make a birthday card for a male family member and this is what I have created. Don't you find it ANNOYING when you can't find a big enough piece of coloured cardstock, which you want to use to frame your image, that actually matches your patterned paper just perfectly !!! This happened to me this morning. So I delved into my little box of off-cuts and managed to find 3 pieces of the coloured cardstock I needed. I glued them all together, which gave me the size I wanted. See pic below.
See... the patchwork pieces fit my image just perfectly!
Now I could complete my card. :)
Thanks for popping by to see what I have created. The stamp is from a local company, Great Impressions, Number J653. I added the birds with a felt-tipped pen for added effect.
I'll be back later with some more creations, so watch this space !
