All Sorts Challenge - Week 37

Well here I am again folks... Sunday evening and I'm really bushed after a hectic weekend of running around and catching up on the oh so lovely ironing - ugh!  Never mind, I managed to find time to make a few cards with all the challenges on the go and here's my little number for the All Sorts Challenge.  They have an interesting sketch this week and it's a DT call.
The base of my card is a lovely lemon coloured cardstock from Brazill from my new stash. The DP I bought ages ago and have been dying to use it and this was the perfect moment. Everything just fell into place with my colour scheme. The lovely PenPal by Elisabeth Bell was coloured in with my Copics and the colours were chosen to blend in with the DP. I even found a lovely chipboard sentiment to match, now isn't that cute?  Further embellishments are a rose, butterfly and rhinestones from my stash.  The colour in the photographs is a bit disappointing for me, as in real life they are so much prettier.

I think this is my last card for this evening... going to call a friend for a chat before I retire to the land of Nod !  Wishing all the working ladies a good week and for those who are fortunate enough to sit at home and craft all day - I envy you... you have FUN now!  I'll catch up with you again sometime in the week. Thanks for all the visits and comments, as you know, they make this all worthwhile.  Tons of hugs, Sharon x

Hi Sharon! Lovely card! The colors are wonderful--yellow is one of my favorites. I read once in a decorating book that every room needs a touch of yellow. Kind of like a ray of sunshine. The image is beautifully colored as always. And the rose and butterfly are perfect additions. I haven't read thru all your posts yet but will this morning. How is your father doing? Well, hope you have a wonderful week. Take care, Sharron

This is such a lovely card. The yellow looks so good, I don't seem to use much of it, should give it a bash. Warm wishes
