After last weekend's hugely creative exercise, I am so disappointed that I have no mojo this weekend and I was so looking forward to creating something exciting... oh well, I suppose that is how it goes...
Well, it gives me the opportunity to share what I've been up to, so here goes for those who are interested...
On Wednesday I received a lovely bouquet of flowers and they still look stunning.... I'm a pink girl, can you tell... lol
As you read last week, I am really keen to try new boxes and have been searching Hi and Lo for a book on Papercrafts, particularly on how to make different shape boxes, so if the local girls know where I can find such a book, please pop me an email, thank you. I managed to find this one at Bargain Books at Willowbridge...
As you can see, there are about 40 different projects to try out, but it's not really what I was looking for, but had such good ideas that I just had to buy it and after reading it this afternoon, I am so pleased that I did... lovely tips to share... I found this interesting project to try out using my Watermark Ink Pad and some Chalk and I thought the stamped image looked so pretty that I made a little bookmark out of it...
I hate wasting anything, so the little butterfly that I punched out on top (the part that sticks out of the book), I used to place on one of the flowers. Ain't that cute?
We're real home birds and love reading and when I showed Kendall my bookmark, she wanted one too, so this was made for her, just using little bits of the scrap paper that we keep hoarding... really, nothing fancy as you can see. It's quite embarrasing showing you these little bookmarks, but when the creativity goes out the back door, what's a girl to do ?
With nothing else going on, I thought I'd just show you a few pics of my somewhat messy craft desk, so that you can see that I have certainly not been idle...
I received my Ezy Mount last week, so can finally mount some of my new Elisabeth Bell stamps. I've been stamping some for friends as well...
Congratulations if you've made it so far, not a very exciting post I know, but I just love sharing... I spent quite some time at the Post Office this morning and have mailed envelopes to the following friends, so please keep a lookout for Postman Pat in your area... Cherie, Colleen, Lins, Michelle (Anders), Paola and Kayleigh. I hope your envelopes arrive soon...
That's it from me. I've just spotted some nice paper and am going to try something new to share with you, so watch this space...lol Thanks so much for visiting, I really enjoy your visits and reading your comments.
Tons of hugs, Sharon x
