Howdy friends and a happy Monday to you all... hope you had a fabulous weekend... We had quite a busy one. Firstly, a very warm welcome to my new Creative Friends, I so enjoy seeing new faces and will pop around to visit you soon...
Good news to share... Kendall went for an interview on Wednesday last week and was offered the job the next morning. I am so thrilled for her. She'll be working as a Junior Attorney for a long-established law firm in the southern surburbs.
And now... Sugar Nellie are having a DT call and you have until 18th September to make a card or project with a Sugar Nellie stamp... I made the lovely Sweet n Sassy card a few days ago for the DT call and when I was about to write the post, realised you had to follow a sketch... hellooooo, where was my brain, obviously I was sitting on it...lol, so it was back to the craft table for me and this is what I managed to do at 04h45 on Sunday morning...
This is a Stationery Gift Set. I visited the lovely Andrea Hayes blog, Stampin Moments a few days ago and downloaded her tutorial, as I was determined to try this out. Thanks so much Andrea, I will be certain to make some more of these. I think they will make super gifts for friends and family. You can find Andrea's tutorial here. She is also the owner of Annabelle Stamps.
This is what the inside looks like. I made a few notelets to use and added some envelopes.
I chose a lovely broad satin pink ribbon to decorate. This keeps the stationery gift set closed.
I've used the gorgeous paper from W&M again. I can't get enough of them! Penpal has been coloured with Copics and I've embellished with lovely flowers from my stash and dew drops given to me by a friend. Added some glitter on the flowers and butterfly. The Sugar Nellie stamps can be purchased from Funky Kits in the UK. I have just placed a new order for some of these gorgeous sweeties and will share them with you once they arrive.
I can't resist showing you a close up of Penpal. Isn't she an absolutely doll?
Here's wishing you all a super week ahead. We'll catch up again soon. Thanks for popping by, I always enjoy reading your comments. Thanks for taking the time to leave them. Hugs Sharon x
