Hello lovely people... it has been a warm day in Cape Town today... Summer is definitely here and I'd happily move up North where there is colder weather, than be here. I know I shouldn't be ungrateful when a lot of my bloggy friends are freezing cold, but I really suffer in this heat!! And to think that I was once a "beach babe" in my younger days... Oh my hat... I would sit and bake for hours in the sun - thankfully my skin does not bear any scars because of this! But now that I am in my 50's, I can't take the heat that we have and our Summer has only just started...oooh boy!
To cool me down I thought I'd make 2 Christmas cards this morning. These Magnolia images are newbies and have been inked, coloured and lying on my desk for absolute ages. I decided that enough was enough and on top of a card these two cuties would go, today! I hope you like them.
And here are the 2 close up pics...
I have been busy behind the scenes making cards on order, but just haven't got around to taking any pics of them, as they have usually been rush jobs i.e. "Please can you make me a card, but I need it tomorrow!"...lol
Real life (RL) is also just hectic right now. Such a lot going on that I will share with you later, but for now I can share that we will soon be getting a new addition to our family...an adorable little kitty! We can't wait to collect it in 2 weeks time. I say "it" because we'll need to take it to the Vet as soon as we collect it to determine what gender it is. We're used to being doggy owners and have never owned a cat before, so it's going to be a whole new experience for us. Once he/she is here, we'll be taking loads of pics to share with you all.
Keep warm or cool, whichever part of the hemisphere you're from. Thanks for popping by to read my blog filler for the day! And a huge thanks to my friends who email me to fill me in on what's going on in their lives. Sending loads of prayers for my dear blogfriends Colleen and Sandra, who are dealing with their own health issues right now. Love ya both, you're in my prayers !
That's it from me, hugs
