Mojo Monday Challenge #117

A huge thanks to everyone who has been visiting me and for leaving such lovely comments.  I really appreciate each and every one of them.  I promise this is my last challenge card for today  (so she says, laughing to herself). People will really think I've got nothing else to do... but let me tell you... inbetween making all my cards today I still managed to do some ironing and cook a lovely meal.  I mean  really... aren't we the experts are multi-tasking??  OK, back to the topic in question.  Here is my very first entry for the Mojo Monday Challenge. All I did was follow the sketch provided and hope I've done OK.  I'm just a bit concerned that I didn't have an inner circle to place inside the scalloped one, but I don't have all those lovely tools, so I just had to make do with what I have on hand.  The DP is a favourite from My Mind's Eye, Merry Days of Christmas called Pajama Plaid. I used a green cardstock for the base of my card and matted cherry red onto that and layered the patterned DP onto that.  As I don't have all those fancy tools, I used my trusty old creative scissors to cut a nice pattern along the green paper in the centre. Further embellished with a gorgeous spotted cherry ribbon from American Crafts and added some pearls for a touch of class! The sentiment I typed myself. The lovely little snowman was a gift from one of my blog friends. That's it for tonight. Another Christmas card to be posted tomorrow.  Hope you like my little creation.  Take care, catch up with you again soon... hugs Sharon x
