A Special Christmas Card...

Hello friends... I've seen some lovely pics of the snow in your part of the world whilst I was blog hopping earlier. Despite the cold, I am sure it must be lovely having a white Christmas :)   I'd love to see some more pics from my overseas fellow bloggers, so wrap up warmly and snap a few pics to add to your blog, especially at night time with all the Christmas lights on...

I made this special Christmas card for someone who has taken the trouble to purchase my stamps from Sir Stampalot for me. She'll be visiting her family in SA and I should receive them within the next week or so.  I can't wait!!!

I really put my heart and soul into making this one, so excuse all the pics, but I just have to share all angles with you.  I really hope you like this one as much as I enjoyed making it.  Let me know if you do ;)  A pity this one doesn't qualify for any of the current challenges though. It was just too nice not to share with you, so I hope you enjoy!

The image is Stanglar, I believe.  I think they are absolutely adorable and I would just LOVE to get my hands on some of these stamps. I've coloured her in using my Copics - I must admit that I was most impressed with my colouring of this image as I really took my time with this one, trying to get the blending and highlights just right. I hope I've been successful!  The gold Christmas tree was embellished with red and green rhinestones. The beautiful flower is from stash I've had for a while and as it's so big it's the first time I am using it. The card will be hand-delivered, so it's OK. I used a lovely gold organza ribbon to wrap around the card. The DP is from Merry Day of Christmas which was matted onto a shimmery bronze coloured paper. The base of my card is a creamy shimmer cardstock. Lots of glitter was used, but then it's a Christmas card, so one must expect lots of glitter hey and I also used some of my snowy flock to put around her hat.

The card would not be complete if I  didn't decorate the inside. Using the same bronze paper and DP from MDC, I used a gold snowflake and red rhinestone to embellish.

Hope you're all having FUN whatever you're doing and not too stressed out as we enjoy the last few days before Christmas.  Nice chatting with you again, take care until next time... blessings Sharon x

Happy Crafting Sharon.
