Combined Challenges - All Sorts Challenge # 34 and Quixotic Challenge # 8

Good Day everyone... It's 12:38am as I am typing this post and my windows are wide open to let in the cool air... what bliss!  It is Sunday morning for us and I wish you all a wonderful, blessed day.  We've been invited to my folks for Mom's Spaghetti!!  Looking forward to that later today...

I've managed to create a card combining 2 challenges, I loved the sketch which All Sorts have sketched and Quixotic Paperie's theme inspired the colour thereof.  Here's my little creation for you to enjoy...

Paper:  Base of card is a shimmer Vanilla colour.  I used a bronzy colour for the matting for my design paper.
DP: From the stash I purchased at CNA.  This is 1 sheet which I could cut into strips. Absolutely beautiful.  The brown colour made me think of Hot Chocolate, the pink of Marshmellows and the creamy colour of Whipped Cream.
Image: Willow reading a Book from Whiff of Joy, coloured in with Copics.
Nesties: Kindly cut and supplied by my friend Paola and coloured with pink and brown chalk from my stash.
Embellies:  Rhinestones and Pearls from Paola's Shop. The bow with the rose is from old stash of mine, I love putting the pearl pins through it!  I've threaded a lovely pink satin ribbon through the different layers and finished off with pink brads in each corner.

Here is another view, giving you a glimpse of the inside of the card, which complements the outside.

I really hope this little creation has inspired you to take part in either one or both challenges my friend and I look forward to reading your comments.  Thanks so much for popping by... always nice hearing from you.  Hugs and blessings, Sharon
