Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge # 20

Hello again... pop over to the Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge blog. Geraldine has designed a lovely sketch to work with.  Here's my take on it.

I bought a pad of new design paper from our local CNA (Central News Agency) store today, all autumn shades and I just had to share it with you all.  I coloured the lovely Sitting Willow from Whiff of Joy about a week ago and she had to come out to play!  I thought she would complement the DP perfectly with her peach top.  I'm afraid the blue jeans don't go so well with the colour scheme, but what the heck, next time I'll tell her to wear brown ones - hehe!!!  Furthermore, I used a lovely brown and silver organza ribbon and my new flat backed peach and brown pearls as embellishments, not forgetting the lovely gold rose!

Told you I love my new DP, so of course I had to use it for the inside of the card as well where the message will be written. Doesn't it look absolutely fab!  There are about 3 or 4 12x12 sheets of this paper and I can see that I will be using it often.  I am thrilled with the comments I receive about the inside of my cards and I hope it will inspire you to do the same.

Wishing you all a good night and a wonderful week ahead.  May the sun shine brightly for you your end of the world.  We're doing just fine here.

OK, I just had to post this pic before I leave you.  This is what my Kendall made me for afternoon tea - hmmm yummy pancakes drizzled with cinnamon and sugar and a bit of honey which was enjoyed with a lovely cup of Date and Honey Tea.   Hope you had a nice "tea" this afternoon.  Take care... tons of hugs, Sharon

This card is precious Sharon!! I love it.. 'so feminine!

So tell me... when I met my London-born husband I really thought tea was 'tea'... like we had growing up at home. But I found it's really cocktail time!! Or, is it just an excuse. I like your idea of tea much better! Those crepes look delicious and you are making me hungry! Huge hugs, Peggy

Loved your card. She can certainly wear blue jeans in autumn. I need to find a CNA with those papers, ours doesn't have any. Today definitely looks like a pancake day here i\Gauteng. Hope your Dad's doing great. Warm wishes

That paper is just gorgeous! I can see why you were anxious to put it to use! That's one of those I would save - for what? I have no idea. Seems like I save my best papers and then they dont' get used. I have to watch that! The image is perfect for this paper. So pretty!

Those pancakes look absolutely delicious! Am I invited to tea? LOL
