The base of my card brown cardstock. I matted a light pink card onto that as I wanted the pale pink as a border for the gorgeous pink floral patterned paper. I placed a brown pearl in the corners of my card and embellished with pink silk ribbon, some roses, pearls, rhinestones and a charm - all purchased from Paola's Paper Haven. As this is a personal card to my daughter, I wanted to write the sentiment out myself instead of typing it on the computer! The image is the gorgeous Melinda Hugging the Heart from Whiff of Joy. Coloured in with my Copics. Both challenges have the word LOVE in it. For me there is no greater love than what a mother feels for her child. I hope you'll all give your children a HUGE hug right now or if they are not close by... pick up the phone and give them a call and tell them that you LOVE them!!! They will love you all the more for it.
A litle peek at the inside of the card, which I still need to write in. Hope you like the embossed butterfly in the corner!

Oh Sharon this is absolutely beautiful! I just adore the whole music idea of this card and Melinda looks fab and coloured so beautifully! Love all the little details and the great papers...perfection! I'm sure it will be cherished by Kendall!
