Hello... I'm still here

Hello dear blogfriends... this post is just a quick "hello" and to advise that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth (yet)...lol... since my last post.  I have just been busy watching the Soccer in the evenings, which has resulted in me (sadly) neglecting my cardmaking, except for my DT commitments.

As you all know, I work full day and only have the evenings and weekends to craft and with the World Cup being hosted in SA, I have been watching the 8.30pm games each evening.  So... it's been a mad rush to get home, get dinner ready and whilst that's on the go, a quick bath (it's Winter in SA and if I leave this until after the match, then it will be soooo cold to get into the bath).  It's getting very exciting now with some of the top teams dropping out (and probably having to take alternative routes home, to avoid meeting some very disgruntled fans!!!).  I know there are a few of you who don't care a hoot for the Soccer, but for those of us who do, I hope your team is still in the running and that you're enjoying it as much as we are.

A very warm welcome to some new faces on my Creative Friends list at the bottom of my homepage. So pleased that you've joined. If I haven't visited you yet, I will do so soon. If you don't have a blog, please leave your email address, so that I can at least pop around to say Hi! If you are a crafter though, I would like to encourage you to jump in and join the rest of us in Blogland. You will have SUCH fun!

As mentioned in my previous post, our Cards for CANSA project is well under way and the response has been overwhelming.  I even have the lovely Glenda sending me cards from Australia and my lovely friend Colleen from Maryland in the USA even offered to make some for our cause. Huge thanks to each and every one of you.  I think we have been so well supported, that we will be receiving more than enough cards to hand out to our Cancer Survivors at the Relay for Life in Worcester in October!

There will be a new post tomorrow on my blog, as it's challenge time at Isabella's Sketchbook and this is going to be a FUN one, so check back tomorrow afternoon for this.  On Friday there will be another post, as we have a new challenge at Teddy Stampers.  This one is right up my street, so to speak. Please make a note to visit and join in the FUN!

Thanks for popping around, I really appreciate each and every visit and comment / Dankie dat julle vir my kom kuier, ek waardeer elke kuiertjie en kommentaar.

Hope you're wrapped up warmly wherever you are. It's back to cold weather in Cape Town again.  Huge hugs, Sharon

Hallo there. One of my friends on Facebook asked us to let the Cape Tonians know that they should PLEEEASE shut the freezer door! We are freezing our little behinds off here in Gauteng. I drew Germany in the pool at work, so at least my team is still in the running and the way they are playing, they look like they might be the team to beat.
