No Challenge today, but I'm having such FUN!!!

It is cold in Cape Town and I'm watching the Italians vs the New Zealanders whilst I type this post.  Hope all the fathers out there had a super Father's Day.  Kendall and I went through earlier today to visit my folks. I made a huge pot of Minestrone soup and added some bacon... hmmm, thick with vegetables, perfect for this weather... yummy!!! Dad loved his Father's Day card, the one I made for the Isabella Sketchbook challenge last week and couldn't stop wiping the tears from his eyes... shame, it really is sad how fragile and sentimental they become in their old age.

My Dad has been an anchor in my life.  I could push on his button any time of the day and he'd be there for me.  A better father one couldn't have wished for.  What saddens him now is that he can't do the things he used to.  I keep telling him he's done his duty, now he must just sit and relax and enjoy being spoilt by his daughters and granddaughters.  I am sure you've made your Father or DH feel special today.  Hope you've had loads of fun!

Talking about FUN! That's what I've been doing since getting home.  As mentioned in my post of yesterday, I purchase 4 of Kenny K's digistamps and I've been colouring in to my hearts content and thought I'd make a few cards to share with you.  Here they are:

(Above) Rock Chick, ain't she a sassy one?

And Download Diva. I just adore them ALL!!!  And a close up of Download Diva...

The DP for both cards is from my stash.  Images coloured in with Copics.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly. Just love these new sentiments.

That's it for me for the weekend.  Whatever you've been doing today, I hope you've had just as much FUN as I have had.

Take care, hugs Sharon

Hi Sharon, while i was bloghopping i came on your blog. It is funny to visit someone from South Africa, because ihave a brother and sisiter living ther, One in Simonstown and one in Paarl. They both have a bed and breakfast. And now i am blogging with someone in that country. I was looking at your cards and like your bright way of colouring. I became your follower. Maybe you can visit my blog sometime, i do have a nice candy. Greets Marion
