Card for Colleen

Happy Wednesday everyone... it's almost weekend !!!  We working girls so look forward to our weekends, don't we?...lol

I can finally showcase a card I made for my dear blogfriend in the USA, Colleen from A Cards Delight.  She writes the most interesting posts and makes the most awesome cards, so pop around and pay her a visit. Oh yes, and she has the most useful Tips to share with us too.

Colleen sent me a gift voucher from 7 Kids College Fund for my birthday and I chose this little Sarah Kay stamp and some sketches.  Her name is Bernadette Admiring the Spring Flowers!  Ain't she a honey?  You can purchase her here.   I've placed a huge order with them and will share details with you when it arrives. It was posted yesterday, so I will be keeping a close eye on my postbox...lol

I found these gorgeous flowers amongst my stash... lying at the bottom of my drawer... had completely forgotten about them and they matched the colour scheme of this card perfectly.  The nestie from Nellie Snellen is my fave at the moment.

The paper is from a 6x6 pad and as there are about 4 sheets per design, I could go to town and decorate the inside of my card as well. Used my fiskars punch again, called Sunburst.

I hope you're having fun wherever you are.  I must dash now to get ready for work and it sounds as if it rained last night... yay!

Take care, have a beautiful day.  Thanks for popping around and leaving me comments, they make it all worthwhile.  Tons of hugs, Sharon xoxox

loving your card inside and out, really special with gorgeous detail.
You asked how I coloured my Tilda, I use pale copics or promarkers the add shape and highlights with koh i noor pencils blended with sansodor dipped paper stumps, they are like prima pencils. hope this helps. janex
