I am enjoying trying new things with my cards and am very happy with the look of this one. I have loads of scrap paper and thought I would put it to good use by embossing some of them. The floral embossed plate was perfect for my little Love Bug card.
As you can see, I used double sided spongy stickers to raise my image. The flowers were made using my flower punches and inserting a brad in the middle. I remember when I used to use brads aLOT, but since I started getting my pearls from Paola, they've been collecting dust in their containers. I thought it was time to wipe them off and use them again...lol
I stamped the sentiment with Tim Holtz distress ink, Vintage Photo and sponged around it to give it that vintage look.
Thanks for popping around. Hope you're having fun wherever you are. Back to the craft table for me... Sharon x

Ooo, this is wonderful, Sharon! The embossing is perfect for that fabulous image. Your card brings back many happy memories of my first car which was a white 'Love Bug'!
