Sugar Bowl Challenge #44

Good Morning everyone... I made this card on Thursday evening for the challenge over at the Sugar Bowl Blog. Lilian's sketch is the challenge for the week and you are required to make a Birthday Card... don't we just love those?  You have to use a Sugar Nellie stamp and as there are so many to choose from, I thought I would enter this challenge.  Earlier in the week I made my first Pocket Card (the girls at work loved it too) and as I enjoyed doing so, I thought I would try my hand at creating another one...

The actual birthday card is based on Lilian's sketch, I just made a pocket to place it into...  here is the front of the card on it's own...

And here is a pic of the back of the birthday card, next to the pocket.  I just took a page out of a small exercise book, tore the pages all round, chalked it in pink and stuck it onto the same checked DP I've been using throughout. My papers are from W&M - love them! This is where you would write your message to the birthday girl...

I was so pleased the way this turned out and will probably use a similar design again sometime soon...

Just sharing a pic of the pocket and birthday card side by side...

And, I like to end with a close up of the Sugar Nellie stamp, she's called Reflective...

That it folks... catch up with you later during the weekend.  Have a super Friday and to the local girls, enjoy Heritage Day today !   Thanks for leaving a comment, you know I love reading them, hugs Sharon x
