Sharing... my first Calendar project

Greetings friends... gosh, it really has been ages since I've felt like posting on my blog.  Apart from my 2 DT commitments, I haven't felt like crafting at all and was wondering if anyone out there has felt the same at some stage or other... so, please forgive my lack of communication. I am hoping that this mood will change pretty soon...

I was recently invited to take part in a Calendar 2011 swap.  Each participant was asked to choose a month from the calendar and I chose December, as it's Christmas of course and I thought I could use all those gorgeous Tilda and LOTV sweeties that I have.

This being my first swap, I felt a bit out of my depth, but gave it my best shot and will showcase a few for you today and over the next few days.  As there were 13 participants, we had to make 13 A4 pages.  Why 13 when there are only 12 months in the year, you may be asking?  Well, there is a Cover page you know... and what a stunning one was made by our Organiser.

We were given instructions how far from the top our image could be, so that it wouldn't intefere with the binding and we had to place a calendar on the page as well.

You get the picture?  Right!  Well, I will showcase 2 for you today and the rest over the next few days... by then I hope that my mojo has returned home...

If you click on the image, I hope it will enlarge it enough for you to see that I have stamped all over the page with my snowflake stamp.  After seeing what the other girls have done and should I be invited to take part again for 2012, I will do things alot differently.  But... this being my first swap, I think it'll pass in the dark...lol

Here's my second calendar page... this is the page I got in my calendar.  As you can see I had plenty opportunity to use my Copics and it was fun using glitter on my images too.

I hope these pages will inspire you to start a Calendar of your own.  Not too late for a Christmas gift now is it ?

Thanks for popping by and leaving a comment, I so appreciate them.  Tons of hugs, Sharon x

Don't even talk to me about mr. Mojo - the stupid man has been AWOL for a while now and just when I think he is back, he vanishes again! RUDE!!!
By the way, did you ever find that parking ticket we lost?
Your calenders are beautiful.

Great work Sharon, these two pages are totally gorgeous! I understand how it feels to have your Mojo desert you. I hope you are feeling all crafty and inspired again soon. But I do think you are still doing fabulously dispite your current mood.
