Just sharing...

Hello friends...

From time to time, I like to share a bit of "non-crafty-sense" LOL with you all, just to have a break from all the cards.

Over the weekend, we spent time at my Mom's place, as she has a handyman doing a little bit of painting for her.  As you all know, Kendall loves cooking and baking and within a few minutes she'd whipped out Mom's baking trays, utensils, etc. and made a lovely batch of scones which we all enjoyed with just plain butter.  Don't you just love it when the scones are warm from the oven and the butter just melts as you spread it on ?  Hope this inspires all the bakers out there to make their loved one's some nice homemade scones.  Want the recipe?  Just pop me an email and I'll send it to you.

And here's some yummy Lasagne she made the other weekend.  I TOLD you she loves to cook.  My dear Dad loved a good cook (which my Mom is of course) and used to have a twinkle in his eye when Kendall used to bake and cook.  He'd say to her "One thing's for sure Pussycat (his nickname for all his girls), your children won't starve one day"... LOL   And he sure showed his appreciation by enjoying the fruits of your labour...LOL

I've also had some new roller blinds put up in my place. This pic was taken whilst the guys were still installing them.  I used to have the vertical blinds, but they just got hooked all the time.  This was a very good move... am so enjoying them.

This evening I made my DT card for the Totally Gorjuss challenge on Saturday, so do pop around again to see it and come join in the fun.  Thought I could Skype with a friend whilst I was busy making it, but seems like there was no one home !

Enjoy the rest of your week.  It's ALMOST weekend.

Take care, hugs Sharon x
