A Challenge or 2

Hello friends

We've really had beautiful intermittent rain during the course of the day.  This morning I really did not think that we'd even see a small patch of blue sky today, but as I peek out my bedroom window, there are blue skies with lovely puffy grey clouds hanging in the air.  What a glorious day it has been.  The perfect day for crafting actually...LOL

I managed to find not 1 but 2 challenges to enter this little card into.

I found this gorgeous sketch from Sweet Stop Sketches and thought I'd join their challenge.  I have used a Gorjuss Girl stamp called Sitting and teamed her with an Elisabeth Bell background image. The floral paper is from my Wilson & Maclaghan range of papers.

I am also entering this card into the Sir Stampalot monthly challenge, where they are celebrating their 2nd birthday.... woohoooo, Happy Birthday Sir Stampalot Challenge blog.   I've recently purchased goodies from the Sir Stampalot online store and their service is outstanding. Very friendly staff there.

You can see from the pic above that I have decorated the inside too.  As I did not have enough of the floral paper over, I teamed it up with the lovely gingham paper, which was a purchase from my friend Paola.   You can see the other half in the pic below.   I never throw pieces of paper away, as one can team them up for the inside.  All I did was matt a piece of white paper for your message onto the blue cardstock and I glued that in the centre of the page.

I've kept my embellishments to the bare minimum.  Just added a little bit from a feather in the top left hand corner with a pearl, a few butterflies and a sentiment to complete the picture.

I hope your Easter weekend is going well and that you're enjoying the time with your loved ones.

It would make my day if you left a comment, as I so enjoy reading them.  Thanks so much for visting me today.

hugs, Sharon x
