Once again, I had such fun making this one. I hope all Krista's (Saturated Canary) fans managed to get hold of the gorgeous Ava she was offering as a freebie during the week. I rushed over and printed a whole page of them. She is stunning !
I've coloured her in with Copics
As you can see, I have just purchased a normal notebook from Clicks. The designer paper is from the Martha Stewart 12x12 pack available at Scrap-a-Doodles. The pack is Vintage Girl and since I purchased the last one, there has not been an update to advertise that they have received new stock, so if you like it you'd better give them a call them.
I decorated the inside cover with a sentiment from Bildmalarna, purchased from Dies to Die For. Not sure where I got the sentiment Friends Forever for the inside back cover and the back of the notebook I just covered to compliment the front.
A close up pic of the Whimsy ticket sentiment, which is a newish purchase. I am so happy with them.
Here's another final view.
Would love to hear what you think of this gift. I think I need to get myself one of those machines where I can make my own Notebooks.
Thanks so much for popping by. Don't forget to leave a comment before you go please, as I so enjoy reading them... (smile).
hugs Sharon x

Hi Sharon, what a beautiful journal. I love the embellishments and papers you`ve used, they co-ordinate really well. Isn`t Ava lovely, a beautiful image, i`ve not yet used her, as she`s still sitting in my draw waiting to be coloured up. Hugs Val

What a gorgeous creation, love it!!!
Sharon this is SO sweet! Just love it!
I take my paper to a place called Top Copy and they make my books for me once I have finished the cover. That way the paper can go to the edge of the book and they punch the hols through it all. (not ribbon though)
This is gorgeous Sharon ! Your notebook looks fantastic ! Love the little ticket and the image is so sweet ! Great colouring too ! Hugs, blessings and love from Catherine

As my friend Susan is struggling to leave a comment on my blog, she has asked that I do so for her. Here's her comment:
“Hi to Everyone who has left a comment regarding Sharon's beautiful notebook to me. Yes, you are all quite right. A lot of thought and love went into making this extra special! The "N" being a bit higher than the rest, works for me. It reminds me of the time we both started off on an old manual typewriter, long time ago! I am indeed a very lucky lady to have a friend like Sharon. She is very close to my heart. Love Susan”
