Lili of the Valley Challenge

It's been a while since I've played with my Lili of the Valley stamps and I thought it was about time that I took them out the drawer to play... Lili of the Valley have a super challenge on the go, you need to use Circles or a Circle on your card.

I just adore little Rosie Posy and thought I'd colour her in gorgeous Lilacs and Orange... hope you like it!
The design is my own and I usually struggle to put a decent design together, but this one came together so quickly and nicely. I may just use it again soon.  The purple DP is from Kaisercraft.  The rest... well your guess is as good as mine...LOL ... little bits and pieces that we have left over from making other cards.

The flowers are absolutely stunning, purchased this morning from a lovely shop at Parow Centre... the name slips my mind right now... but it is filled to the brim with flowers, ribbons and all sorts of crafty items... the owner makes stunning Invitations for weddings and those other special occasions...

Rosey was coloured in with Copics and as I don't have many of those extra light colours, I use my blender alot.   It really helped viewing one of the LOTV inspirational tutorials a while back.

Well, I think that's it as far as cardmaking goes for the weekend.  Hope your week ahead is a good one.  Sharon

LOTV Challenge - Flowers!

Seeing that I have all these new beautiful LOTV stamps, I just have to take part in their challenges and am so pleased to be able to do so as I love these designs.  So... here's my challenge card.  As they are sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts this week, they would like you to use flowers on your card.  I didn't use too many or else it detracts from the lovely DP.
And a close up so that you can see all the glitter...
Once again the patterned DP is from Paola's shop, as well as those gorgeous pearls.  The cardstock from The Scrapbook shop and ribbon from my own stash.  Image is the gorgeous Rosie Posy from LOTV, coloured in with Copics. Added a bit of glaze to her shoes and bouquet.

Hope you like this one, I just adore her!  Happy crafting friends, hope you manage to get some crafting done inbetween watching the Soccer... take care and thanks for your visits. hugs Sharon x

Fairies, Blossoms and Butterflies

Good evening my blogfriends... as mentioned in one of my earlier posts, my LOTV fairies arrived and I coloured them during the week.  After a busy morning shopping for my elderly folks, we got home in time to watch the Bulls thrash the Stormers.  This was one of our biggest matches ever, the Super 14.  Both home teams got into the final and unfortunately my team, the Stormers lost. But they didn't deserve to win today. Looked as if they had lead in their shoes.  Well done to the Bulls supporters, enjoy the celebration. The Cape is very quiet at the moment, we're drowning our sorrows - sniff, sniff!

I've decided to enter this gorgeous fairy in the LOTV challenge.  All you need to do is follow their sketch and use a LOTV image. Here is my creation, I hope they like it and I hope you do too.

And here is a close up as per usual.

The DP is new, a sheet of 12x12 paper which I saw in a little shop at the N1 Shopping Centre this morning. Just had to use it as it matched the colours used in my fairy image so perfectly.  Coloured in my fairy with copics and used the blender pen a lot.The tips from the LOTV Inspiration Blog helped tremendously.  I was so thrilled with the final result of this image.

Thank you for all your lovely visits and comments. Don't forget I have a Chat Box now, so if you're online, would love to hear from you.

I'm off to watch a movie now, so toodles until later.  Cheerio Sharon xoxox
