I can't believe this is our final challenge for January's challenges at Teddy Stampers. I've been visiting some of your blogs and you've been creating some amazing cards. Well done and thank you so much for taking part. We hope you will continue to be inspired and that you will encourage your friends to do likewise. Today's challenge was to make a card using Dry Embossing. Here is my interpretation, I hope it will inspire you to get those crafty tools out, so that you can play along with us...
I have used a lovely chocolate brown as the base of my card (I love my browns!). The DP is from K&Company. I used a shimmery dark fawn colour for the middle of my card. Glued on top of that is a piece of orange and white spotted ribbon from American Crafts. I was so fortunate to find this gorgeous piece of embossed off-white paper from some leftover stash I had and matted this onto a piece of chocolate brown paper for depth. The image is one of Vera's designs from Heartland Creek Graphics, which I've used plenty times before and was coloured in using my Copics. I'm not happy with my colouring in, as this was done ages ago and I think I have improved since then (wink wink), but she was just too cute not to share with you all. Vera is one of our Sponsors, aren't we lucky? The gorgeous flowers and rhinestones are from the Scrapnook. The sentiment is a rubber stamp from a local company in South Africa.
