Magnetic Fridge Notebook

TGIF.... As you know, I am at home today... but as mentioned in my previous post, there was no laying in bed until the sun shone on my behind...LOL  Not that we'll even see sunshine in SA today.  It is COLD, RAINING and OVERCAST.... perfect Winter weather.

Got up early to renew my car licence. Then I went to the Post Office to post some mail.  Gosh, if Cindy Geier is reading this, please note that your envelope has now been posted... I cannot remember how we made contact, but I must have promised you some goodies and somehow your envelope got buried beneath my other mail in the boot of my car.  I found it the other evening, so apologies for the late posting, but I hope when you do receive it, it will be worthwhile (smile).

The Defy (stove) technician has just left... thank goodness (me wiping brow), it didn't amount to alot.  Just a small, but very important fault that was making my electricity trip.  All sorted... yay!!!! Not that I cook mind you, that's my daughter's department (aren't I lucky?).  She bought some recipe books earlier today and as she's paging through them, I can just see those toes curling.  I just shake my head and she turns around and says "You know Mom, the way you feel about your cardmaking, paper, ribbon, stamps, etc..... that's the same feeling I get about cooking and when I page through my recipe books".... hahahaha...NOW I get it !!!

I hope I am not boring you with yet another Magnetic Fridge Notebook creation, but it gives me the opportunity to blog inbetween my DT posts.   Linda, my colleage at work, LOVED the book I made her for her friend (see previous post) and when I opened my drawer at work she saw the 2 MFN's I had made for Ayiesha... "What's that?" she asks cheekily (smile), so I take it out and show her.  Well, after oooh'ing and aaah'ing for about a minute or 2 she tells me she has just GOT to have one for her kitchen too... How could I refuse such a sweet request ??   So, without further ado, here is Linda's little MFN. She'll only see it on Monday, hope she likes it.  Once again, I had such fun making this one.

The colours I've chosen are brown, peach and cream from MME's Miss Caroline 6x6 designer pad which was a purchase from Quixotic Paperie.  It will suit Linda's kitchen just perfectly.  I've used 2 cute little mother of pearly dragonflies in the corner which was a gift from Marika... thanks so much honey, these gifts are coming in handy!  Thanks to Hannelie again for creating the gorgeous sentiment for me... I've punched a whole lot and they are so ready to be used.

And here's a side view just to show it off to its fullest.

Now that I've loaded these pics and typed up this post, I need to go do my shopping and the weather is not looking good outside.  In fact, it's just started raining again.

Cheerio for now, hugs Sharon x

Hi Sharon, thanks for all your lovely comments you always cheer me up. Sorry I havent been around lately, I have had a bit of a problem with my computers anti virus refusing me access to any blogs (mine included!) apparently they are all malicious sites! Hoppefully got it sorted now.
I have been having a nosy around your blog to catch up, these fridge notebooks are gorgeous! Each one so different but equally gorgeous!
Have a great weekend sweetie
