More Cards for Charity...

Hello fellow crafters

I have a few more Baby cards to share with you all.  I must admit, I am really enjoying making them and will definitely be keeping some in my stash to sell in the new year.

I got a bit bored with the little Jumpsuit I designed and felt that a few Balloons would look nice.  So I quickly drew one as a template, see below.

The card I made with the Balloons is at the bottom of the next pic

I hope these will provide inspiration for the rest of our team who are taking part in this charity drive.  I have made a total of 30 cards and have yet to make much more, so I'll be off then.

More Cards to share...

It has been a hugely productive day for me today...  I managed to create 14 Baby cards today...woohoo!!!

Here are some more pics I'd like to share with you.  I've really had such FUN making these, as I've hauled out a few Martha Stewart punches for this product, which has been collecting dust (*blush*) on my shelves. Not to mention the lovely Sentiments, Card Candy and Buttons too.... I could go on and on and on... You catch my drift, don't you ?!?!?

I also managed to do some "light" housework and cooked something simple for supper.  Now I feel bushed!

Baby Cards for Charity

Hello friends

We had a long weekend this past weekend.  Hope you all had a good one.  The shops are full and I have decided I will not go to the Malls again.  Whatever I run out of, I'll just get from my local Checkers or Spar ! This fighting to find a parking bay just peeves me off to start with.  In any event, it was my first day out after my op and when I came home I felt the brunt of it.  Had to take painkillers to alleviate the pain I was feeling in my abdomen.  So... I am quite happy just to chill at home and continue following my doctor's orders :)

Here are a few cards I am making for a charitable cause.  More details concerning this drive can be found on my other blog, The Cape Town Card Fairy.  Please consider becoming a follower of that blog if you are not one already.  Blogger appears to be doing maintenance work, so the followers are not visible right now, but do go back will you :)

As I'll be making quite a large amount of cards, I've had to design a clean and simple look.  Funny how when you start scratching around, you find craft items you'd completely forgotten about. Here's the little embossed pram which I got when I first bought my Cuttlebug. Have never used it and it is coming in quite handy right now.

Baby Boy cards to share

Hello friends, are you having a fab Saturday ? Hope so.  Earlier this afternoon I attended a baby shower this some friends... and thought I would share the 2 cards I made, one from myself and the other for my friend Deidre.. hope you like them.  It's not often that I get to make Baby cards, especially Boy cards, so I really had to put my thinking cap on here.

The image above was stamped for me by a friend, sorry I can't remember who, but I'm pleased I kept it as it came in very handy when I needed it !

The lovely Me To You teddy bear stamp was given to me by a friend. I stamped it with Momento's London Fog ink, so it looks like the original printed ones you get on those shop bought cards. Really happy I got that Ink.
