Morning everyone... hope you are all well ?  Welcome to my new followers, always nice to see new faces.  I have just realised that my hits have reached the over 20 000 mark.  Thanks so much to everyone who has visited and still visits my blog... I find this so amazing!   I appreciate each and every visit, so hope you'll still hang around with me for as long as I keep this blog going...

I just have to share these lovely Gift Card holders that my super-talented blogfriend Christine has made. Pop on over to take a peek... these would make awesome Christmas gifts.  They are so cute.  Thanks for sharing Christine, I will have to try making some of these.

I thought I'd also just share a Christmas card I made using paper which I bought at Scrap Delight.  I made a pocket for the front of the card and inside the pocket I placed the sentiment (from Happy Daze), which was matted onto patterned paper, using a Nellie Snellen die. I also added 2 little tags to make it look a bit fuller... hope you like it.  The lace gives is a sort of vintagey look, I hope. I can't remember if this was one of my purchases or what my dear blogfriend Amelia sent me. Isn't that lace just too beautiful! Finished it off with a rose and some ribbon.

More Christmas cards to share...

Hello friends... I am as sick as a dog at home... didn't sleep a wink last night and my body is aching all over... thanks to those who have emailed me good wishes... I really appreciate it.  I really hate being sick, so the emails and sms's from my work friends are really most welcoming...

I made 2 more Christmas cards which I'd like to share with you and am really loving this new look compared to last years cards.  I hope the recipients are going to see an improvement in my technique, but most importantly, that they'll just enjoy the Christmas wish being sent...

I just adore this little Lili of the Valley christmas stamp.  She is such a pleasure to colour in.  It's the second time I've used her, the other is for a project which I'll share with you all later in the year....

And then I decided to go completely off the christmas reds and greens and used pink, green and blue, hope you like this one.  She's a Lili of the Valley fairy.  As she's carrying a present I thought it appropriate to use on a Christmas card... and

because she's a fairy, you just have to use lots of glitter... you can pick it up better in this pic below...

Just loved that pink paper with the snowflakes on it, I think that was my last piece and can't remember where I purchase it from ... boohooo

I found one of those glue pens with the stickles inside, they come in gold, silver, green, red, blue, etc.  I've had them for absolute ages and thought I would use the silver one to cover the dots on the gift. I was quite thrilled with the outcome.  Around her skirt and wings I used Rangers Stickles, Star Dust, just love that one!

That's it from me for now.  I think I'm going to head for bed to see if I can catch up on some sleep...

Christmas Cards

Happy Monday and start of the new week... I made these 2 very plain Christmas cards last night and thought I would share them with you.  Please excuse the lack of embellishments, I just wanted to keep these Clean & Simple.

First is my new Sugar Nellie Santa from Funky Kits... he looks such a jolly fellow, doesn't he ?

Santa was coloured in with Copics. The Christmas paper is from W&M, which I got on Friday and couldn't wait to use!

Used some flocking around his coat and hat.  The ribbon is a beautiful tartan, also new.

This is how I went about colouring him in...

I was very fortunate to receive this lovely LOTV stamp as a gift from a dear blogfriend, as she had received a duplicate and offered it to me... As I did not have it, I happily accepted this gift.  Thanks so much Amelia.

Once again, I am using the lovely new Christmas paper from W&M.  Hope you like this combination.  My image was coloured in with Copics.  I added some Rangers Stickles around the hat and pom poms, which you can hopefully pick up in the pic below.  I just love this Nellie Snellen die too.

Well, that's my first 2 Christmas cards for this year.  I see a lot of you are busy making yours, so I'd better get cracking then.

Thanks to those who have emailed wishing Kendall a speedy recovery.  Now I'm also sitting with a scratchy throat and a sneezing nose... you just can't win, can you ? Am trying to doctor myself first with a few meds from the pharmacy... hope it helps.

More Quickie Christmas Cards...

Thought I would just post a few more last-minute Christmas cards which are on order. Posted all mine on Sunday and then a few more today.   The card above was made using the lovely digi stamp from Vera of Heartland Creek Graphics.  You'll find her blog under my list of blogs I visit regularly. She's come up with some lovely new graphics, which I'm sure will impress you. Please pay her a visit when you have the time.

I still love my little Penny Black snow couple and the candy bar stamps. Nice to use for those quickie cards you want to make. They look absolutely fab in real life with all the glitter on them - not sure if you can pick this up in the pic though.

I've just been commissioned to do a farewell card for tomorrow and I hope when I sit down tonight that the creative juices will just flow, unlike last night when my mojo just died on me!!  Never mind, it was a good excuse to call my buddy Paola and have a chat.
