Teddy Stampers - ANYthing Goes-DT
TGIF and welcome to another challenge at Teddy Stampers. We love viewing your creations, so I really hope you'll pop around to our challenge blog for some inspiration and before you go, why not bring along some friends too... I am sure there are plenty of Teddy stamps gathering dust on those shelves... how about dusting them off and letting them out to play...
Our challenge this fortnight has been set by our very talented DT member Cherie... and it's ANYTHING GOES...
I have had this image of Mo's for quite a while now and it was coloured quite some time ago too. Amazing how one's style of colouring even changes over the months... I thought it was time to let this cutie pie and her teddy out to play, so here's my interpretation of Anything Goes...
Just love this green and pink combination. The ribbon is new and stunning. Have decided I need to use more of the flowers I have in my stash, instead of hoarding them, so I really went to town here... (Kendall keeps telling me I have to use my stuff in order to buy some more...lol) Please don't laugh... but I used to cut those green wirey bits off my flowers until I learnt that you just twine them over a thin paintbrush to get them all curly like that... uh DUH!!! Why didn't I think of this before.... I feel like a real doffie (South African word for "idiot")... LOL Just shows... you learn something new every day hey!
Thanks for popping by and enjoy the weekend. Tons of hugs, Sharon x

Teddy Stampers - Fall Colours
Happy Friday everyone... the weekend is almost here... thanks for joining us again at Teddy Stampers challenges. This fortnight we'd love to see your projects and cards using Fall colours. For some inspiration please visit our blog to see what our DT have come up with.
I've coloured in this gorgeous Popcorn Bear which was stamped for me by my fellow teamie, Cherie. Isn't he gorgeous and don't you love those flowers? I've added some dimension glaze to make them pop. The gingham paper was snagged from Bev's Blog. She offers these as freebies, so pop around and pay her a visit. You will find these in the right hand column and will have to scroll right down. She has a super range of colours to choose from.
Wags 'n Whiskers are our sponsors this fortnight. The sentiment is one of Cuddly Buddly's. Thanks for popping by and good luck with the challenge.
Hugs Sharon x

Teddy Stampers - BEAR Acrostic
TGIF... it is a public holiday in South Africa today, which means that we have a long weekend... YAY!! That means, an extra day to spend crafting for those of us who are still working full time... YAY!! It also means that there is another challenge for you over at Teddy Stampers... YAY!!! Today's challenge has been set by our lovely team member Lins. She'd like you to make a card using a BEAR acrostic. Create your own acrostic to coincide with your card. Here is my DT card... I will explain my acrostic underneath it...
My acrostic is as follows: B = For my cute little Teddy BEAR; E = For the little Envelope he is holding; A = For the Arum Lilies and R = For the ribbon I have used on my card. See, how easy was that?
My DP are freebies received with the purchase of the Papercraft Magazine (UK). The stamp is from Lili of the Valley, stamped for me by my lovely fellow DT member Cherie (thanks honey!). The arum lilies and doily were from Paola, thanks Paola, they are lovely! The butterfly charm was a gift from Amelia, thanks Amelia, it really adds a lovely touch to this card. I added some dimension glaze to the butterflies and the flower to make them "pop" - so pleased I found this nifty product. It sure is coming in handy.
Our sponsors for this challenge are Inktegrity Digital Images. Please pay them a visit, they have some amazing digistamps for you to buy, at very reasonable prices!
Thanks for joining us again this fortnight. The DT and I can't wait to see what acrostics you are going to come up with.
Take care, hugs Sharon x

It's Back-to-School at Teddy Stampers
TGIF... it's almost weekend... welcome to another challenge at Teddy Stampers. Today the theme is Back To School. This was a very challenging challenge for me, so please excuse my lack of creativity. Hope you can come up with something better...
I have merged 2 digistamps. The books are from Elizabeth Dulemba's blog (a freebie) and Pooh Bear also a freebie from a kiddies colouring pages website. Elizabeth is an amazing Children's Book Author and Illustrator. It will be worth your while to browse her site. My images have been coloured with Copics. I've made a different size card this time and turned over the flap on top, just for something different.
Just had to add some dimension glaze to that gorgeous red apple sitting on top of the books...lol Use some literature paper to decorate the inside of the card, to keep with the theme.
Our sponsor this week is Deedee's Digi's. Please pop around and visit her site, she has some amazing digi's for you to play with.
Thanks for popping by. We look forward to viewing your stunning creations. Hugs Sharon x

A Sketch at Teddy Stampers
TGIF and welcome to another challenge at Teddy Stampers. This time the lovely Jerusha, owner of Teddy Stampers, has designed a sketch for you to follow. And a lovely one it is too... Our sponsors this fortnight are Die Cut Dreams.
I have chosen one of Elisabeth Bell's images for my card, from Belles n Whistles, called Child's Prayer.
I am loving my new Fiskars border punch, Sunburst and have combined this with a lovely spotted ribbon from my stash. The corner punch is also new. The leaf was punched out using my McGill Pine punch 1 x 1.5 inch.
We'd love you to pop around to the Teddy Stampers challenge blog to see what the rest of our design team have created. I hope you will feel inspired to join us.
Take care, hugs Sharon x

Annie's Challenge at Teddy Stampers-DT
TGIF... and welcome to another challenge at Teddy Stampers. Our very talented Annie has set the challenge for this fortnight... you need to make a card using a square, a circle and a rectangle and you can vary it by using 1x square, 2x circles and 3x rectangles if you like... let's see how creative you are... Our sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy. Here's my little card for your inspiration. I hope you like it as much as I do.
The image is one of Cuddly Buddly's teddy bears. Isn't she a honey? Coloured her with Copics. Sentiment is also one of Cuddly Buddly's. I am using them quite a lot as I really love the circle sentiments. My card is a square, my sentiment a circle and my image and nestie are 2 rectangles. Now, how easy was that?
Added some dimension glaze - just love this stuff!! This card is a lot smaller than my usual one's and I like it so much that I think I'll be making some more of them for my own use to send to friends.
Thanks for popping by. Hugs Sharon

Teddy Stampers - ANYthing Goes-DT
Hello Bloggers, a very warm welcome to another Teddy Stampers challenge. This fortnight we invite you to take part in our Anything Goes Challenge. Yes, that's right, you can make any card you like, as long as you use a Teddy Bear rubber or clear stamp on your card or project.
Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights and today I am using one of their digistamps called Celebration Charlie. You can purchase him here. Isn't he just the most adorable digi teddy ever ?
I absolutely loved colouring him in. For a change, I thought I would share what Copic colours I used:
Teddy: E13, 15, 19, 51, 53
Hat (partly): YR00, 02, R35
Balloons: YG7, G40, B41, 23, 32, YR04, 02, 00
The DP is stunning, lots of glitter and is double-sided. I forgot to take the name down, sorry! I cut a round "ball" for our teddy to sit on, so it doesn't look as if he is floating in the air (smile). I stamped the image twice and cut out the balloons to raise them with sticky foam for dimension. I think I must do this more often. I like the final effect.
Here's a side pic so that you can get a better view. The sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly's range of sentiment stamps. I coloured around the sentiment with my new chalk purchased from Scrap-a-Doodles (I am so loving the pastel shades I chose).
Further embellished with buttons, which I use far too seldom.
I hope you'll feel inspired to play along with us this fortnight. Please pop around to the Teddy Stampers blog to see what the rest of our DT have come up with. You will not be disappointed! Not only is this team highly talented, they are a super bunch of ladies to work with. Love you girls ~ mwah!
Thank you so much for visiting me once again, I appreciate each and every comment, hugs Sharon

Love My Teddy - Teddy Stampers
Hi there all you Teddy lovers... have we got a super challenge for you this fortnight at Teddy Stampers... We'd like you to make a card that has a teddy bear on it, but the teddy doesn't have to be the main focus, for example, a stamp with someone hugging a teddy or sleeping with a teddy, or having tea with a teddy, let your imagination run wild...
As all my regular visitors know, I love my cute girly (and pink) cards, so this challenge was just up my street. For my image I have chosen an Elisabeth Bell design called Beary Big Hugs from Belles 'n Whistles. I just adore her images and this one is sure to become a huge favourite.
Cardstock: Pink AC; DP: Making Memories; Ribbon: Creative Talents; Cherry Blossom & Roses: Charmaine's Shop; Pearls: Paola's Shop; Image: Beary Big Hugs, coloured in with Copics. Sentiment: Simon Says Stamps.
Please visit the Teddy Stampers blog to view the rest of our DT's cards. I am sure you are going to be inspired to take part in this challenge. Our sponsor is Cornish Heritage Farms.
Take care, teddy hugs, Sharon xoxo

Summertime Bears at Teddy Stampers
Sorry friends... PC probs have delayed me posting my card for the Teddy Stampers challenge... apologies to all. As it is Friday, I'd like to welcome you to our Teddy Stampers challenge for this fortnight, where we'd like you to make a card depicting Summer. All you need to do is use a Teddy Bear stamp on your card. Our wonderful sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamps. Be sure to pop around, we'd love to see what you create.
This was certainly a challenge for me, living in the southern hemisphere, as we're in our Winter season and the mere thought of swimming makes me shiver with the cold!!! Without any further ado, here's my little Teddy getting ready for his big swim.
The image was downloadable from the very talented Elizabeth Dulemba's website. She is a children's book author and illustrator and I have used quite a few of her images on my blog. She is a super warm person and I was absolutely thrilled and honoured that she left a comment for my Potter Teddy (Teddy Stampers movie magic theme). How cool is that?
Please visit our Teddy Stampers blog, as the very talented DT have created some stunning cards for you to view. I hope you will feel inspired to join us this fortnight.
A wonderful Friday to you all... tons of teddy hugs, Sharon xoxo

Teddy Stampers - Movie Inspiration
Hello friends and thanks for joining us at Teddy Stampers again for another challenge. Our challenge this week is Movie Inspiration and I can't wait to see what you'll come up with... Our sponsor this time is Squigglefly.
This was quite a challenge for me, I must admit. I was really stumped until an email arrived from Elizabeth Dulemba, the artist who drew this lovely Potter Teddy. Then the ideas just flew through my head. I made the 'film strip' myself by matting white card onto black and then colouring in the dashes you find on the film strip with a black copic. Elizabeth is an amazingly talented children's book author and illustrator. Do pop around and visit her blog.
Here's a close-up so that you can see the glaze that was used on Teddy's hat and scarf.
I can't wait to see what you come up with, so please join in the fun! Hoping you'll come to the movies with us... Take care, hugs Sharon

Teddy Stampers Challenge - Bedtime Bears
Hello friends... I hope you'll join in the Teddy Stampers challenge this week. We have a delightful challenge for you.... so get out those little Bedtime Bears and join in the FUN!
Our Design Team have produced some wonderful creations to inspire you... and the prize this week is sponsored by Whimsey Stamps.
I've used Bedtime Bear from the Care Bears... remember them? The nice thing about them is that you can colour them in to suit your DP, which is exactly what I've done. Kendall berated me for colouring Bedtime Bear green, "he's supposed to be blue Mom" she said, shaking her head. Oh well! She should know better, as this was one of her favourite programmes to watch on TV when she was younger...lol So... apologies to all the die-hard Care Bear fans, for today Bedtime Bear is green!
Take care, wishing you lots of teddy hugs Sharon x

It's all Red and White at Teddy Stampers
[Edit, I erroneously scheduled this post for the 26th instead of the 24th. Nevertheless, here it is now. Just as well, as I'd like to welcome a new member to the DT at Teddy Stampers, Desiree Havenga a fellow South African. I'm so pleased. Please visit her blog and show her lots of love.]
Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Teddy Stampers. Today's challenge is in celebration of St George's Day, which is a holiday celebrated in the UK. Since so many of us do not celebrate this holiday, we'd like to keep it more international and invite you to make a colour challenge card, using Red & White. So, pop over to the Teddy Stampers blog, our challenge is being sponsored by Regina at the Cutting Cafe. We hope you will be inspired today to join us.
Isn't this a cute little Teddy? Thanks so much to my friend Catherine for sharing him with me. The DP is so bold, that this card needed very few embellishments. I've used my new tag cutter again, you'll probably see me using this alot and the sentiment was a rub-on which I received from Paola as part of my Grab Bag I ordered from her. For the SA girls, you can select to order a R100 or R150 Grab Bag from Paola and it's filled with all sorts of crafty goodies. As I'm greedy, I chose the R150 bag and it was filled with some awesome DP, ribbons, rub on sentiments and all sorts of other goodies. It all comes beautifully packaged, so there is no damage to any of your stash.
Happy crafting everyone, hugs Sharon

Spring Day Card
Hi Folks... and welcome to another Teddy Stampers challenge. Today we'd like you to make a Spring Card in celebration of Spring! That would be for our northern hemisphere friends, as the southern hemisphere are getting ready for a wonderful Autumn.
Here's my very simplistic card. The image is courtesy of my lovely friend Catherine and has been coloured in with my Copics. The DP is new, didn't take note of the name, sorry! Just added a flower, ribbon and sentiment. I hope you will feel inspired to make something simple and sweet.
Please visit the Teddy Stampers blog to see what the rest of our DT have created for your inspiration today. Take care, hugs Sharon

Mother's Day (UK) Celebration
Greetings everyone... another Teddy Stampers Challenge and this time we'd like you to make a gift or card for Mother's Day, which is being celebrated this Sunday in the UK. Please pop over to the TS Challenge blog to view the other design team member's creations. I hope you will find inspiration to join in the FUN this week.
My Happy Mother's Day sentiment was too large for this card and as I was tooo lazy to type one out, I thought I would just use a stamp that I have in my stash... Just For You! I used a gorgeous glimmer cream card for the base of my card, which you can unfortunately not pick up on the photo. I kept it plain and simple and have not used any DP. Instead I cuttlebugged another cream card with swiss dots and matted that onto some bronze paper. The stamp is a digi one, coloured in with my Copics. Used some glitter for pizzazz. Further embellies are flowers, pearls and hearts. The pearls are from Paola's.
I hope you feel inspired to make your Mom or Mom-in-Law a card today and I look forward to catching up with you on the Teddy Stampers blog. Take care, hugs Sharon
