3 Sunday Challenges...

Good evening friends... gosh, but my weekend has been a busy one.  Thought I'd have more time to craft, but you know how it goes... things just never turn out as you expect them to, and before you know it, the weekend is over... drat!

Well, I browsed blogland and found 3 challenges to enter this little card into.  This Tilda with Heart was coloured in ages ago and she's been dying to come out to play, so here she is...

The card is new from Little Claire Designs, don't you just love it?  The sentiment is also from Little Claire Designs.  These are pop-out sentiments and all I did was use my small scalloped nestie to cut a matching lilac circle and glued the sentiment onto that.   The Vintage Postcard is also a newbie from Whimsy Stamps, just loved this the moment I saw it and I knew I had to buy it!

I just love the way the light shone through on this card and had to share this pic too.  I managed to decorate the inside as well, as you can see.

I am entering this card into are these 3 Sunday Challenges:

Totally Tilda - Distressing (edges of my paper)
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Flowers (and I have plenty of those...lol)
Paper Sundaes - Stitching (around my sentiment)

Thanks so much for popping by.  I appreciate the comments you leave. As you know, I really enjoy reading them., Thanks so much for leaving such nice encouraging ones!  Welcome to the new faces on my Creative Friends list (followers).

Have a super week ahead... hugs Sharon x

Totally Tilda Challenge Entry

Good Morning my lovely bloggy friends... it's Wednesday and that means it's midweek... Just a reminder that we have a new challenge on Friday over at Teddy Stampers... so there is still time to take part in the current challenge and on Friday if you come back for a visit, you'll get to see what the new challenge is all about.

Speaking of challenges... I am so loving playing with my Maggies right now and last night it was so hot, 37 degrees celsius, that I couldn't go to bed early so I made this sweet little card for the Totally Tilda Challenge, where the challenge is Fruity Tilda. You must use a fruit on your card, be it paper, an embellishment or Tilda holding a fruit.  I've used Cherry Tilda, she's holding cherries and my DP is beautiful cherry paper... hope you like it...

Is that paper divine or what?  I was wondering when I would get the opportunity to use it. Just love it, but unfortunately it's my one and only sheet....booohooooo!!!

I'm using more flowers, can you notice? LOL.... must start using them up so that I can purchase some more.  First time that I am showcasing the gorgeous heart ribbon... love it... my new heart-shaped pin... love that too... and my new Magnolia background image... so a whole lot of newbies from me....

As you can see, I have decorated the inside of the card as well, but using a contrasting DP and this time I've used a pink and white striped one.

And finally a close up of our little Tilda, coloured with Copics.  First time I've added some whites dots to those cheeks, but they didn't come out white enough... may have to get another gel pen.

Before I love and leave you, I am thrilled that my little Cross Stitched Tilda card won the February Home Page challenge over at the Magnolia Stamps Yahoo Group.  Thank you so much!

Thank you to the new faces I see amongst my Creative Friends... so nice of you to join... welcome!  I look forward to catching up with you soon.  And a HUGE thanks to everyone who visits and leaves a comment.  I appreciate it so much.

Totally Tilda Challenge

I cannot believe that I am typing a post at 11pm... Whilst skyping with my blog buddy who lives in Johannesburg, I managed to make another card this evening for the challenge How Does Your Garden Grow at Totally Tilda's Challenge blog.

Now, as I don't have any magnolia background images (methinks I'll have to put this on my wish list), but I do have some lovely Tilda's, I thought I'd use some beautiful floral paper from my W&M collection, so that it looks as if my Tilda is sitting in a floral garden.  Here's my little card...

Now ain't my little Tilda cute?  She even has a flower in her hat!  I then added some gorgeous Lilies on the side to fit in with the theme and tied the bunch together with a ribbon.  Added some pink card candy in the corners.

I decorated in inside of my card to compliment the outside, keeping with the theme.  And here's a side view with a peek of the inside from this angle...

I just love this paper, so soft and feminine so I will definitely be using it again soon...

As it's the end of the weekend, my next crafting session will be over next weekend if I don't get a chance to play one evening this week.  Until then, thanks for your visits and happy crafting!

Totally Tilda Challenge

It is pouring with rain as I type this post... I just love it!  Perfect weather for crafting which is what I have been doing the whole afternoon, whilst drinking copious amounts of tea and enjoying some lovely pancake which Kendall made for us.  Not good for the figure, I know (lol), but perfect weather for it, I am sure you'll agree...

Here's a little card I put together for the challenge over at Totally Tilda.  They want you to use Stitching on your card and I've gone for the faux look.  I only found it a few weeks ago and this is my first challenge entry.

I haven't used lilacs for a while. Am so pleased I did. The border punch is new which I purchased over at a craftshop at the Somerset West Mall last Sunday. It's called Sunburst and is so dainty, I just love it.

Well, it's back to the crafting table for me.  Thanks for popping by, and a very warm welcome to my new Crafty Friends.  Don't forget to take part in the Blog Candy I am offering.

Hugs Sharon x
