Simply Magnolia (DT) - Easel Card

Hello lovely people

Thanks so much for popping around to see what I've created for the Simply Magnolia challenge this fortnight.  A warm welcome to another new follower who has joined my blog.

Our challenge at Simply Magnolia is for you to make an Easel Card.  I haven't made one for absolute ages, so this was a real challenge for me too.

Aren't these new Christmas Tilda's just too gorgeous ? Love them!  Tilda with Two Gifts was a purchase from Sir Stampalot.  Excellent service!  This one has been coloured with copics and mounted with double-sided tape onto to Marianne die.  The background paper is from the Nitwit collection, which you can purchase from LOTV.

The Christmas tree is unfortunately the last one I have...boohoo... cut for me by one of my bloggy friends.  The sentiment is also one of Magnolia's.... Northpole 25.

Here's another view from the side.  Please pop around to view the other DT girls creations, they are awesome eye-candy.

Thanks once again to our wonderful sponsor for this challenge, Creative Treasures.  Please pop around to view their awesome products, you will not be sorry! I have purchased from them before and their service is excellent.

That's it from me.  If you have the time, please pop around and leave a comment as I really enjoy reading them.

Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Totally Gorjuss (DT) - Traditional Christmas Colours

Well, was I pleased to see what Net had chosen for our challenge this week!!! lol   I am waaay behind with my Christmas card stash, that it was a huge pleasure having to make a Christmas card using Traditional Christmas Colours.  Do pop along to view the other Gorjusettes' creations at the Totally Gorjuss challenge blog, you will not be disappointed!

Don't you just love this Sugar Nellie SANTA with Tree.  He is so adorable.  You can purchase him from Funkykits. The papers are Forever Friends Gift Wrapped, which I bought from my friend Paola.  It is an A4 double sided pad and the texture is lovely. Nice and firm card too, which I like.   The sentiment is one of Magnolia's, purchased from Sir Stampalot.  Their service is outstanding!  Santa has been coloured in with Copics.

Here is a side view, for you to get a peek at the decoration inside.  And below is a close up of the sentiment.  Funny, how the tune sticks in your head when you read it!  He sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake, he knows when you've been bad or good, So be good for goodness sake!  la...la...la...

And one more little picture to share.  I mounted SANTA onto the circle with double sided foam tape.
I will enter this into Crazy Hazelnut's Christmas challenge.  They want you to make something with a snowflake on it!

Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Crafter's Companion.  I know they have some awesome Christmas items for you to buy, so pop around and pay them a visit will you?  They stock all your favourite brands, so go on... lol

Thanks for popping by once again.  I hope you find time to leave a comment, as I so enjoy reading them.

Simply Magnolia (DT) - Anything Goes

Hello everyone

Welcome to another challenge at the Simply Magnolia challenge blog.  Tracy has chosen a lovely challenge for you... ANYTHING GOES... so let those creative juices flow.

Our SM DT have created some awesome cards for your inspiration, so if you love Magnolia stamps, do pop around and join in the FUN!  I hope my little creation will inspire you to take part.

This is my newest Tilda to arrive from Sir Stampalot... Celebration Tilda.  The other stamps were purchased from a blogfriend, Pops.  I just love them, don't you ? I masked them to create this lovely picture. Once stamped, I noticed that our Tilda was sitting in fresh air, so I drew a brick wall for her to sit on and it came out quite well, don't you think?

I added some dimension glaze to the flowers and Tilda's hairband, not sure if this pic picks it up so well.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The butterflies are from Kaisercraft. The sentiment I have had for ages but use it far too seldom.

Remember there is a voucher up for grabs for the winner of this challenge from our wonderful sponsor, Scrapbooking All Sorts.  I have just received a purchase from Tracy's store and let me tell you, her service is top class and I received a little surprise item with my purchase. Thanks so much Tracy.

Thanks for popping by.  Please leave a comment before you leave, as I so enjoy reading them. A very warm welcome to my new followers.  Always nice meeting new friends.
