Anything Goes (DT) - A Real Sweetie

Welcome to another challenge on the Anything Goes challenge blog.  Do we have a sweet one for you... We'd love for you to create a card/project with the theme A Real Sweetie - think cupcakes, christmas pies, etc.  Let your imagination run wild!

As most of my regular followers will know I just love my Molly Blooms, designed by Clare Rowlands.  Sadly I have not used them much, but I intend rectifying that asap.  Here's Molly the Chef.  She's adorable, don't you think ?  I thought she'd fit this challenge perfectly.

Just love the paper I used.  Not much left over though, which saddens me.  I've tucked a recipe card behind Molly and wrote out the ingredients for a Cupcake recipe thereon.  Just sponged it a bit (too much) to give it a vintagey look.

You can place anything in Molly's hand. I decided to stamp a little cupcake.  Gave it a good dose of dimension glaze to make it look yummy and using double sided spongy tape placed it in Molly's hand.

Please join in the fun at Anything Goes this fortnight. We love viewing your stunning creations.  As always please visit the Craft Den for all your crafty needs.

Happy crafting, hugs Sharon x

Here's.... Molly

Hi friends... it's just gone 7 minutes past midnight, so Good Morning... hope you all have a lovely Sunday.

I hadn't planned to make a card earlier this evening, but after skype-ing, chatting and crafting, this is what I produced...  I made this card for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamps Challenge blog.  All you to do is follow the sketch by the lovely, talented Jane...  hope you like it?

I have used one of the adorable Molly Bloom stamps again, purchased from Which Craft.  She's called Farmyard Molly. I have masked her to sit on a wall, which is a stamp from a local SA company.

The heart-shaped pearls were purchased from Crafty Emma's Store.  The sentiment is one of Cuddly Buddly's which I purchased ages ago.  The gorgeous ecru lace is from a local habby store in Cape Town.

Same card, taken from another angle...

Thanks for popping by and visiting me again. If you'd like to leave a comment that would be great.  Happy crafting, hugs Sharon x

Hello Molly Bloom...

Hi there girlfriends... I made a quick card this evening with a stamp I received from one of my lovely blogfriends.  I've been dying to stamp and colour her to make a card and thought I'd do so quickly before I hit the sack.  Hence a smaller card this time... it's ages since I've made this size with a side fold...

The new stamp is a Molly Bloom by artist Clare and I think I have just have to get her some sisters to keep her company... what do you think ?  Ain't she sweet ?

I chose lovely soft colours for this card... don't you just love the card candy? I am so pleased that I got them from Crafty Emma's Store.

I am so used to working with bigger square cards, that I found it so strange working with this side and style again.  Here's a peek at the inside.  Created faux stitching around my image on the front and did the same where the message is to be written in the inside.

As this was a quickie card, next time I'll use some of my other accessory stamps, so that she doesn't look so lonely... a little bit of grass beneath her feet would have been nice hey ?

That's it for tonight, thanks for popping by. hugs Sharon
