Simply Magnolia (DT) - Fancy Folds & Friendship

Hello and Welcome

At Simply Magnolia we have a stunning new creation for you... Tracey would like us to make a card with more than 1 Fold and to include a Friendship theme too.

Well, this one was easy enough for me to do as I have a whole lot of beautiful pre-scored folded cards from Which Craft in the UK and a stunning supply of friendship stamps.  My Recipe for Friendship sentiment was a purchase from Dies To Die For and is a Bildmalarna stamp.  Here's my little number... I hope it will inspire you to join in the FUN this fortnight!

The papers are from my brand new 12x12 Martha Stewart pad, purchased from Scrap-a-Doodles in Pretoria.

Our sponsor this fortnight is from Creative Treasures in the UK.  I have purchased from them before. I usually buy all my cherry blossoms from them. Excellent service!

Thanks for popping by and I hope you'll visit the other SMDT ladies to see what awesome creations they have created for your inspiration.

Here's.... Molly

Hi friends... it's just gone 7 minutes past midnight, so Good Morning... hope you all have a lovely Sunday.

I hadn't planned to make a card earlier this evening, but after skype-ing, chatting and crafting, this is what I produced...  I made this card for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamps Challenge blog.  All you to do is follow the sketch by the lovely, talented Jane...  hope you like it?

I have used one of the adorable Molly Bloom stamps again, purchased from Which Craft.  She's called Farmyard Molly. I have masked her to sit on a wall, which is a stamp from a local SA company.

The heart-shaped pearls were purchased from Crafty Emma's Store.  The sentiment is one of Cuddly Buddly's which I purchased ages ago.  The gorgeous ecru lace is from a local habby store in Cape Town.

Same card, taken from another angle...

Thanks for popping by and visiting me again. If you'd like to leave a comment that would be great.  Happy crafting, hugs Sharon x

Molly the Chef....

Happy Sunday folks... It has been a wonderful long weekend for me and I've managed to find some time to play at my craftdesk.  We're in the throes of winter in SA and the weather has been downright miserable (not complaining), but perfect for staying indoors and crafting up a storm.

I have a friend who loves cooking.  She'll be celebrating her birthday in July and this card was lovingly made for her, using the a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e Molly Bloom stamp called Molly the Chef, which you can purchase from Which Craft in the UK.

I've distressed the cardstock again, now that I've learnt how to do it properly and am loving this look.  Isn't it wonderful that you learn something new every day... and thankfully there are some of us that are keen to learn in order to move to the next level... well, at least that's what I aspire to do...

I am sure my friend is going to love her birthday card as I really had such fun making it and adding all sorts of embellies to give it that shabby sort of look.  Aren't those Milk and Eggs just too cute for words...   I just love them!  In fact, I just love all these Molly Bloom stamps !

As I don't own (or have the space) for those machines that cut cards into wonderful shapes, I purchased these beautiful scalloped cards  and envelopes from Little Claire Designs in the UK and they were incredibly well priced, as was the postage. I highly recommend my SA friends to purchase from Claire. My order arrived within 2 weeks, all beautifully packaged.  This time I only ordered 20.  I've just placed another order for goodies from Little Claire, yay!  Can't wait for it to arrive.

Don't you just love my new ribbon which was purchased from Super Floral in Paarden Eiland ?   I photocopied a recipe for a 60 Minute Trifle and distressed it to add behind Molly.  I quite like this effect.  Got to use my Martha Stewart Scallop Dot border punch again.. another fave!

Take care dear friends. Have a wonderful week ahead, blessings Sharon x
